Hi, I’m George Kouzis, a mountain bike athlete, coach, and content creator from Cyprus. My journey in cycling started when I was just six years old, riding with the Bikin’ Cyprus academy. From the very beginning, I knew I had found my passion. I also grew up as a scout with the 91 Scouts group in Nicosia, which taught me the value of adventure, independence, and connecting with nature.
I wasn’t the most outgoing kid—I was shy and didn’t enjoy school much. But the outdoors gave me the freedom and inspiration to grow into who I am today. Over the years, I’ve turned my love for cycling into a career filled with unforgettable experiences, challenges, and achievements.
In 2021, I secured my first sponsorship with Prorider bike shop and its owner, Akis Savva. This opened the door to competing at national and international levels, including the European and Balkan Championships. Around the same time, I had the privilege of being mentored by Andreas Kolokotronis (Cinemartcy), who helped me improve my content creation and build confidence in front of the camera. This was a turning point for me—it allowed me to share my story with a growing community on social media.
After high school and military service, I embarked on one of my most exciting adventures: a solo trip across Europe. At 19, I traveled through 12 countries in a car equipped with a rooftop tent, competed in Austria, and lived on the road, documenting everything along the way. This journey taught me resilience, independence, and the power of storytelling, which I continue to embrace today.
In 2024, I’ve had the chance to:
• Compete in the European Championships in Romania.
• Successfully fundraise for the Mountain of Hell race in Les Deux Alpes, although it was canceled due to flooding.
• Win an enduro MTB race in Parnassus, Greece.
• Join Team SRT in Israel and share my experience during a tense and challenging time.
This year, I’m taking on my biggest challenge yet: a 141-day cycling adventure across Europe. I’ll be competing in major races like the UCI MTB World Cup, the European Continental Championships, and—hopefully—the Mountain of Hell. Along the way, I’ll be traveling self-supported in a fully equipped car, sharing daily updates, race prep, and behind-the-scenes moments on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and even local TV.
For me, cycling is more than a sport—it’s a way to explore the world, push my limits, and connect with people. Whether I’m racing, mentoring athletes, or creating content, I’m driven by a desire to inspire others to chase their dreams and embrace the adventure.
Join me on this incredible journey!
